Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Director of Innovation & Product Development to lead the Brand's product development and drive the innovation agenda. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on development across a growing team, partnering with merchandising, packaging, quality, and supply chain to accelerate breakthroughs.

The successful candidate will own the enterprise pipeline, translate consumer and marketplace trends into platforms, and build scalable processes to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year innovation strategy for Sprouts Brand portfolio.
• Own the enterprise innovation pipeline with a balanced portfolio.
• Translate trends into innovation platforms and growth initiatives.
• Partner with executives to define priorities and allocate resources.
• Lead development and commercialization of high-impact products.
• Establish and govern portfolio management processes.
• Build strategic supplier/manufacturer relationships to accelerate innovation.
• Champion product development excellence with scalable frameworks and stage-gate processes.
• Improve speed-to-market and launch effectiveness.
• Serve as enterprise SME for product innovation and development.
• Develop organizational capability within Product Development team through coaching.
• Communicate strategy and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
