Status: Permanent; Full-time

Location: Remote; travel will be required

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Infrastructure Sales is a key member of the leadership team, building and developing the customer sales and retention strategy from the ground up. This role will be responsible for defining and executing our sales strategy, building and managing the sales team, and creating meaningful relationships with clients and partners.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role that requires a hands-on leader with experience scaling a sales organization in the physical infrastructure space. This person will work closely with the leadership team to ensure our product offerings align with customer needs, while creating a sales culture that drives results and fosters collaboration and integrity. This a unique opportunity for an ambitious self-starter, looking to help scale a company in a fast-growing and innovative industry.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Work closely with the CEO and other members of the leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within the industry
  • Drive new business opportunities through direct outreach and strategic partnerships, building a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to ensure efficiency and effective pipeline management
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and market insights
  • Regularly attend industry events and conferences to nurture active and prospective client relationships
  • Work closely with the marketing and brand team to develop innovative sales materials and in-person experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in the electrical and/or mechanical infrastructure space
  • Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth
  • Prior experience in building and scaling a sales team in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge in lead generation, sales processes, and CRM tools
  • Existing knowledge of electrical infrastructure and HVAC systems, with a strong grasp of the unique demands of the data center and/or power generation industries
  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in sales leadership or management is a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and close high-value deals
  • Comfortable in a startup environment with the ability to be agile, and build a department from the ground up
  • A hands-on leader who can both lead by example and empower a team
  • A high degree of professionalism, business judgment and personal ethics, integrity and responsibility
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, understand market trends, and track key metrics
