Job summary

OpenZeppelin is seeking a seasoned Information Security leader to own and mature the company’s Information Security Program, including strategy, design, and governance across security, privacy, and compliance.

You will drive AI security adoption, oversee SOC 2 and ISO 27001 implementations, manage incident response, and partner with Legal to safeguard data while enabling enterprise-scale growth, all with fully remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security leadership
• Experience leading IT security and GRC
• Proven path toward CISO
• Experience governing AI/LLM products
• Privacy and data protection law experience (GDPR/CCPA) in AI context

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, and maturation of OpenZeppelin's Information Security Program
• Manage AI security and governance, including secure AI adoption
• Oversee compliance, audit, and enterprise trust via SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Maintain privacy and data governance with Legal
• Lead incident response and bug bounty programs
• Oversee IT and infrastructure, including IAM and endpoint protection
