Job summary

Google San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Manager in Large Customer Sales to lead a team of account executives, cultivate close relationships with C-level clients, and drive growth across Google’s advertising solutions. You will shape joint strategies, align cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable outcomes for Google and its customers.

In this role, you will influence senior stakeholders, manage complex deals, and help scale education-focused campaigns within the Education & Careers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in digital media sales, digital advertising, or digital marketing.
  • Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account executives, set and communicate team priorities, make decisions, and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Marketing or advertising experience within the education industry.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience influencing senior level clients and stakeholders in a sales management capacity.
  • Knowledge of full-funnel marketing strategies and media, including lead generation, brand building, and programmatic media.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to create and further develop existing relationships and business.
