Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Director of Engineering for iCasino Experiences to lead the engineering organization across the U.S. and the U.K.

You will shape technical roadmaps, drive fast, reliable bets across multiple mobile applications, and partner with Product, Design, and TPM to deliver customer-centric casino experiences at scale. You will oversee roughly 20 engineers, align cross-office programs, and champion best practices in observability, testing, and delivery performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading engineering teams through managers, ideally across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Proven ownership of consumer-facing product experiences at scale — built mobile products where speed, polish, and reliability are differentiators.
• Strong delivery leadership, with a track record of shipping complex initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing engineering organization across the U.S. and the U.K.
• Own delivery across the domain — set operating rhythm, commitments, and surface risks to product and business stakeholders.
• Own engineering quality and reliability for all customer-facing casino applications, including production readiness, observability, and incident response.
• Partner with Product, Design, and TPM to shape the roadmap and drive iterative delivery of V1s.
• Hire, develop, and coach engineering managers and senior contributors; design the org structure and talent strategy.
