Job summary

TERREPOWER, a leader in sustainable manufacturing, seeks a Director of Purchasing to drive strategic sourcing for hydraulic components across heavy industrial and mobile equipment. You will lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and align with engineering and operations to ensure quality and continuity.

In this role, you will develop category strategies, optimize suppliers, and manage costs while upholding safety and supply continuity across our aftermarket and remanufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing in heavy industrial settings.
• Experience with hydraulic components and OEMs.
• Proven leadership building high-performing purchasing teams.
• Ability to drive cost savings and supply continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hydraulic sourcing strategies and category plans.
• Identify, qualify, and manage hydraulic component suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts to secure price, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations on specs and reliability.
• Leverage ERP tools to track performance and lead times.
