Job summary

KKR is seeking a senior Data Engineer to lead the design and construction of world-class data engineering capabilities for the Human Capital domain. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technology roles, including leadership.
• Experience designing and scaling data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data modernization programs and cloud migrations.
• Expertise in modern data engineering and platforms including SQL, Python, cloud ecosystems, orchestration tools, and warehouse/lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with integrating Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ATS, LMS, and HR systems via APIs and iPaaS.
• Strong data governance, controls, lineage, security, and auditability for regulated people data.
• Excellent communication and executive presence to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Human Capital Data Engineering with strategic direction for data platforms and reporting.
• Own the multi-year data engineering roadmap for HC data platforms.
• Define target-state architecture for people data and analytics-ready platforms.
• Partner with CHCO, HC Business Partners, and IT to align data initiatives with business priorities.
• Oversee integration of complex internal and external data sources with strong data governance.
• Modernize legacy HC data environments with scalable, cloud-aligned patterns.
• Build and mentor a high-performing data engineering team.
