Job summary

KKR is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the design and construction of world‑class data engineering capabilities for the Human Capital domain. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or related; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in data engineering/architecture with leadership experience.
• Experience designing and scaling data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data modernization programs.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, cloud data ecosystems, orchestration tools, and warehouse/lakehouse.
• Hands-on with integrating HC/enterprise platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) via APIs.
• Strong data governance, security, lineage, and privacy knowledge.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead HC Data Engineering and set strategic direction for data platforms.
• Own multi-year HC data engineering roadmap and unified data platform.
• Define target-state data models, pipelines, and analytics-ready platforms.
• Partner with CHCO and HC teams to align data initiatives with business priorities.
• Oversee integration of internal/third-party data sources ensuring quality and governance.
• Modernize legacy HC data environments with scalable, cloud-aligned patterns.
• Build and develop a high-performing data engineering team.
• Enforce best practices for data architecture, security, access, and governance.
