Job summary

LoveShackFancy is seeking an Associate Design Director to lead and elevate the Home category, translating our romantic, feminine aesthetic into furniture, textiles, and lifestyle decor. You will own the design vision, partner with merchandising and sourcing, and drive concepts from concept to shelf while mentoring a team of designers.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in design, strong leadership experience, and deep knowledge of materials, production timelines, and print development.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of design experience with leadership exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing print, pattern, and product design across home categories.
• Proven experience managing a design team and leading creative direction.
• Deep knowledge of materials, production timelines, and cost targets for home goods.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design vision and creative direction for the Home category, reflecting brand identity across furniture, textiles, and decor.
• Lead seasonal concepts, mood boards, colorways, prints, and material stories from ideation to production.
• Mentor and develop a team of designers, providing feedback and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with merchandising, product development, and sourcing to align design with sales strategies and timelines.
• Oversee print, pattern, and surface design development, including original artwork and licensed collaborations.
• Present concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders and ensure timely delivery within budget.
