A leading co-educational boarding school in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced sporting professional to manage and develop Hockey. The role involves shaping the sporting life of the school, working closely with the Director of Sport, and inspiring students aged 7-18. Candidates should have a strong background in coaching and a passion for sports development, with opportunities for leadership roles and professional growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a key role in the management and development of Hockey at our successful co-educational and boarding School situated 12 miles East of York. We have a strong tradition of sporting excellence, participation and enjoyment, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced sporting professional to shape this role and make it their own. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in developing and implementing our bold Strategic Education Vision, alongside our Director of Sport, to significantly impact the sporting life of our School.
Pocklington School offers a supportive environment with a good work-life balance, professional development opportunities, and social activities. The role involves working approximately 37 hours per week during term time, plus 4 weeks for tours and pre-season training.
