Job Summary
Lead the Rockies' integrated high-performance system across Major League, minor-league and international development environments. Establish consistent physical development, testing, readiness, rehabilitation and return-to-performance standards across locations. Recruit and manage discipline leaders, set research and technology priorities, oversee budgets and develop integrated digital performance systems. Coordinate decisions between coaching, medical, S&C, nutrition, mental skills and sport-science teams while accounting for altitude, travel and seasonal demands. Evaluate outcomes and maintain accountability for the quality of player support throughout the organisation.
Level 8. Holds organisation-wide authority over Athletic Training, Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning, Mental Skills, Nutrition and Performance Science from the Dominican Academy through the Major League team. Sets interdisciplinary standards, performance systems and research priorities; leads discipline heads; and owns departmental budget, workforce and quality assurance. The employer requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least eight years in high-performance sport; CSCS, CPSS or an appropriate clinical credential is preferred, not mandatory. The employer's minimum experience and academic requirements do not establish eligibility for IUSCA Level 8 certification, which is assessed separately.
IUSCA IQF Level 8 Master International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner (mISCP)
Green. The advertised salary of USD $250,000 to $350,000 appears appropriately aligned relative to organisation-wide strategy, senior multidisciplinary leadership, budget ownership, workforce oversight, international operational scope and accountability for player health and performance. The extensive travel and irregular baseball schedule remain important considerations. Under the IUSCA IQF Role Classification & Salary Alignment methodology, this results in a Green rating.
This role has been classified by IUSCA using publicly available information at the time of review and the published IQF Role Classification & Salary Alignment methodology.
