Job summary

Nelnet's Business Services unit seeks a Director of Strategic Growth to lead Scholarship Services growth in Catholic and private-school markets. You will shape strategy, build executive relationships with dioceses and school networks, and translate market insight into priorities across BD, product, operations, IT, and marketing.

The role emphasizes thought leadership, pricing and go-to-market decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in field or related field with 5-7 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Significant senior leadership experience in education, school choice, scholarship granting, or a related nonprofit or education financial services environment.
• Established relationships and credibility within the Catholic education community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for Scholarship Services in Catholic, faith-based, and private-school choice segments.
• Identify and pursue new partnership and growth opportunities with dioceses, school networks, and scholarship organizations.
• Represent FACTS with Catholic education leaders, SGO leaders, and national school choice organizations; build executive relationships.
• Shape the impact narrative using outcomes data, client stories, and research; contribute thought leadership and content.
• Partner with Product Strategy and collaborate with Operations and IT/Engineering to align growth initiatives with deliverables.
