Head of Growth & Performance Marketing Hard Head Veterans and Kevy Safety – Sweetwater, TX

We're Hard Head Veterans and Kevy Safety. We make helmets for freedom—those who build, enjoy, and protect it. We're growing fast and need a performance marketing leader who can match our intensity and drive measurable growth by aggressively and profitably acquiring new customers. Our success depends on mastering paid channels to find and convert new buyers within huge audiences. We're looking for a data-obsessed operator who executes at warp speed and can build a world-class growth engine.

Your Mission: Own the Growth Engine As our Head of Growth & Performance Marketing, you'll be the architect and pilot of our market expansion. Your primary mission is to personally drive and scale our paid acquisition efforts, turning audacious ideas into a predictable and profitable stream of new customers. You will live in the data, master the ad platforms, and lead the charge in identifying, testing, and scaling innovative strategies to dominate new markets.

What You'll Deliver (Outcomes):

  • Profitable Customer Acquisition: Define and exceed aggressive targets for new customer acquisition revenue, with a relentless focus on Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
  • Best-in-Class Channel Performance: Develop and scale a profitable, multi-million dollar media buying operation across core and emerging platforms (PPC, Social, CTV, etc.), mastering attribution and maximizing returns.
  • Agile Innovation: Continuously identify, test, and implement emerging channels and AI-powered solutions, keeping our acquisition strategy at the absolute forefront of the industry.
  • Dominant Digital Presence: Optimize and expand our digital footprint, including a significant Amazon build-out, to maximize sales and visibility with new audiences.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement a rigorous testing methodology to continuously improve conversion rates across all key funnels, from ad click to checkout.
  • Flawless, Rapid Execution: Translate strategy into hands-on action with unparalleled efficiency, ensuring consistent, high-quality campaign output.

How You'll Do It (Key Responsibilities):

  • Growth Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy, from budget allocation and forecasting to hands-on campaign execution and optimization.
  • Paid Channel Mastery: Directly oversee and optimize all paid acquisition channels, including PPC, SEO, paid social, display, and CTV, to hit aggressive growth targets.
  • Rigorous Experimentation: Own the A/B testing framework for ads, creative, and landing pages. We want you to test crazy ideas aimed at unlocking new customer cohorts.
  • Funnel & Creative Optimization: Collaborate with creative resources to guide the development of high-performing ad assets and continuously optimize the conversion funnel.
  • Performance Partnerships: Build and scale performance-based partnership programs (affiliate, influencer) that drive measurable, incremental revenue.
  • AI Integration: Champion and implement AI tools across the marketing function to drive efficiency, unlock creative insights, and improve campaign performance. You're an AI power user.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Establish and manage a clear system for tracking and reporting on all key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage and deploy the marketing budget to maximize ROI.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive performance marketing experience, with a proven track record of managing significant ad budgets.
  • Hands-on-keyboard expertise in major ad platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads). You are a master of the tools.
  • Proven track record of driving significant, measurable DTC growth for high-consideration or high Average Customer Value (ACV) brands, ideally in an environment with a lower frequency of repeat purchases.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, target, and profitably acquire new customers from large, cold audiences.
  • Deep expertise in data analysis, attribution models, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Insanely creative with a "guerrilla warfare" mindset—you find unconventional ways to win.
  • Mastery of execution and ability to move at warp speed.
  • Exceptional proficiency in leveraging AI for marketing efficiency and creativity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Passionate about performance marketing, genuinely excited, and a little bit nutty about achieving audacious goals.
