Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Orlando is seeking a Director of Golf Maintenance to lead the Tranquilo Golf Course and practice facilities with a focus on top-tier playability and exceptional guest experiences. You will manage agronomy programs, budgeting, staff training, and coordination with golf operations to deliver premium turf conditions and seamless operations year-round.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management or equivalent.
• Fluent English and strong leadership skills required.
• Experience in resort landscape operations or private golf memberships preferred.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and lead maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seeding, fertilizing, topdressing, soil conditioning, watering and pest/weed control of the golf course and practice facility.
• Hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff; manage payroll and operating budget.
• Coordinate tournaments, weather-related closures, and special requests with Golf Operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, chemical storage, disposal and safety regulations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management

Florida Pesticide Applicator License

CGCS preferred

Two or four-year degree in Turfgrass Management or certificate program
