Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager to build and lead the Garnet Quality function across Easton, PA and Hillsborough, NJ.

You will define the quality organization, implement QMS processes, and drive product release controls while partnering with engineering, fabrication, and supply chain. You will lead root-cause analysis, CAPA, and quality improvements, ensuring customer and supplier quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, science, manufacturing, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive quality, manufacturing, or operations experience, including leadership of quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Build the Garnet Quality organization, staffing plan, responsibilities, procedures, training requirements, and implementation roadmap.
• Establish the quality system with QMS processes, document control, record retention, and metrics, aiming for ISO 9001:2026 certification.
