Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President of FX Sales to join the Global Markets team in New York, NY. The role is hybrid, focusing on growing a diversified FX client book and delivering strategic market insights to clients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred) and 10+ years’ experience in financial services, with a proven track record in client relations and complex deal execution. Leadership and risk-aware selling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of total work experience preferred.
• Well-versed in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages a portfolio of existing clients or prospects, focusing on client satisfaction and relationship building.
• Builds a new book of FX Institutional client business, including Corporates, Real Money, Alternatives and Banks.
• Responsible for covering FX clients, executing FX trades and managing the sales book throughout the day.
• Advises internal leadership on the best way to achieve both short and long term strategic objectives through the firms solutions and offerings.
• Provides intra-day and longer term market color as well as leverages resources across the firm to keep clients informed of key FX and market developments.
• Tracks and reports on business development results for assigned area / client segment.
• Assists with client onboarding as required.
