Job summary

Material Bank is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Olive Branch distribution center. You will oversee end‑to‑end fulfillment across multiple lines, manage an automated facility, and drive capacity, inventory accuracy, and service excellence.

The role requires 10+ years in distribution with 7+ years of leadership, expertise in WMS/automation, strong analytics, and the ability to lead a high‑performing team across shifts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in distribution or supply chain with 7+ years leading multi‑shift teams.
• Budgets, cost per unit, and labor‑productivity metrics ownership.
• Experience with high‑volume WMS operations, robotics or automation.
• Parcels and freight operations management and carrier relationships.
• Strong analytics and advanced Excel; BI/reporting familiarity; AI openness.
• Proven leadership, attention to detail, problem solving, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑shift operations including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee 3PL collaborations, shared inventory, and peak‑period planning.
• Onboard brand partners, contribute to process design and ROI analyses.
• Maintain SLAs, resolve service issues, and manage operational readiness.
• Own budgets, labor planning, and automation initiatives; drive cost savings.
• Drive safety, standard work, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
