Job summary

National Grid Ventures (NGV US) seeks an experienced Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and portfolio analytics across the NGV US portfolio. This role consolidates performance and forecasts across diverse operating and development-stage businesses and communicates insights to executive leadership.

The NGV US portfolio delivers material operating profit and manages a multi-year, multi-billion dollar capital program.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic planning in infrastructure or energy.
Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a multi-business environment.
Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing finance teams.

Responsibilities

Own consolidated monthly management reporting with dashboards and analytics.
Deliver executive-level insights and clear business narratives explaining performance drivers.
Ensure reporting deadlines and high-quality outputs.
Lead quarterly and annual planning and forecasting across NGV US with stakeholder engagement.
Identify risks and opportunities and foster a culture of safe-to-say for FP&A staff.
Understand how each NGV US business creates value and returns.
Manage and mentor the NGV US FP&A team (2 managers, 4 analysts).
Co-lead finance transformation, standardization, and advanced analytics.
Promote performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
