A dynamic leadership role in a thriving resort

Set on a 900-acre estate in the heart of Perthshire, Crieff Hydro is a historic, family-owned resort with over 150 years of hospitality under its belt. Welcoming thousands of guests every week, our food and beverage offering spans 4 restaurants, 4 bars, and a busy calendar of events, weddings, and conferences.

This spring, we’ve opened a brand-new £5 million restaurant, bar, and speakeasy – a bold and creative space designed to elevate our guest experience and reflect the best of Scottish produce. As our new Head of Food & Beverage, you’ll bring it to life and take the lead in delivering exceptional service, every day, across the full resort.

About The Role

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment. You’ll set the standard from the start of each shift, leading ambiance walk-throughs, driving service excellence, and ensuring each outlet delivers its own distinct experience.

You’ll Also

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple venues, working with department managers to ensure each is set up for success.
  • Support the success of our newest restaurant and bars, setting a clear vision and embedding high standards.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a team of over 120 F&B team members with a visible, hands-on management style.
  • Act as senior F&B contact for weddings and events, ensuring seamless coordination with Sales and Events teams.
  • Collaborate on menu and pricing strategies, forecasting, stock, and margin control across all outlets.
  • Champion a culture of excellence through regular team briefings, guest feedback reviews, and service coaching in real time.

What We’re Looking For

  • A seasoned F&B leader with multi-outlet experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
  • Someone who understands how hospitality should feel – and holds their teams to that standard every day.
  • Confidence and clarity when leading teams, paired with emotional intelligence and presence on the floor.
  • Strong operational planning skills, from staffing and rotas to payroll and supplier relations.
  • Excellent commercial understanding from P&L oversight to spotting small improvements with big impact.
  • A collaborative partner for departments across the hotel, from kitchens and events to housekeeping and finance.
  • Most importantly, someone who leads by example and builds strong relationships with their teams, guests and peers.

This role reports directly to the Hotel General Manager. The right candidate will bring both a strategic outlook and an operational edge, with the resourcefulness to adapt quickly and the presence to inspire those around them.
