Job Summary:

We are at a pivotal point in our growth journey. While we have a strong foundation of partnerships in place, the scale and ambition of where we're headed requires a transformative approach. As Vice President of Partnerships, you will lead the evolution of our ecosystem strategy—expanding our footprint, deepening strategic alliances, and positioning Candescent as a recognized thought leader in the fintech ecosystem.

This is not an incremental role; we are seeking a bold, strategic operator who can help us make a quantum leap forward in both the volume and value of our partnerships.

Key Outcomes and Deliverables:
  1. Define and execute a comprehensive partnerships strategy aligned with our product and market objectives.
  2. Cultivate high-impact relationships with industry leaders, technology providers, and fintech innovators to drive ecosystem value.
  3. Lead and scale a high-performing partnerships team, with clear KPIs for growth, influence, and engagement.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure partner initiatives are fully aligned with product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  5. Represent Candescent externally as a trusted executive voice at industry events, panels, and partner forums.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  1. 10+ years of senior leadership experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or platform alliances—preferably in fintech, SaaS, or adjacent sectors.
  2. A proven track record of launching and scaling ecosystem partnerships that drive measurable impact.
  3. Exceptional executive communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  4. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
  5. Global mindset and cultural agility
