Job summary

Coram AI is seeking an experienced Events Lead to own and scale our U.S. events and field marketing program. You will determine where we show up, how we engage prospects, and how events generate sales opportunities, collaborating with Growth and Sales to build a pipeline across education, government, and public safety.

You will manage conferences, logistics, pre-event outreach, post-event follow-up, and reporting, and develop scalable playbooks so Sales can run smaller events independently.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in events, field marketing, or related roles within a B2B organization.
• Experience independently managing events from planning through execution.
• Proven ability to build or scale event programs with measurable results.
• Strong project management to coordinate multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and logistics; cross-functional coordination.
• Travel willingness around 40% during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Coram's events strategy, selecting conferences, trade shows, and regional events.
• Manage end-to-end events: planning, budgeting, registration, logistics, shipping, travel, staffing.
• Collaborate with Sales and Growth to drive pre-event outreach and meetings.
• Ensure timely post-event lead handoff and track conversions into sales opportunities.
• Develop hosted events like executive dinners and roundtables; regional gatherings.
• Track performance: meetings, pipeline, cost per meeting, ROI; adjust strategy accordingly.

The role:

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Events Lead to build and scale Coram's events and field marketing program as we continue to grow across the U.S. This is an opportunity to own our events strategy from the ground up, determining where we show up, how we engage prospective customers, and how we turn events into meaningful sales opportunities. You'll work closely with our Growth and Sales teams to build a program that drives pipeline and strengthens relationships with customers across education, government, and public safety. You'll oversee everything from conference selection and event logistics to pre-event outreach, lead follow-up, and performance reporting. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and excited to build a scalable events program.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute Coram's events strategy, identifying and prioritizing conferences, trade shows, and regional events that drive business impact
• Manage events end to end, including planning, budgeting, registration, booth logistics, shipping, travel, and staffing
• Partner closely with Sales and Growth teams to drive pre-event outreach, schedule meetings, and maximize event participation
• Establish and manage post-event lead handoff processes, ensuring timely follow-up and tracking conversion into sales opportunities
• Build and execute hosted events, including executive dinners, roundtables, and regional gatherings
• Track event performance, including meetings generated, pipeline influenced, cost per meeting, and overall ROI
• Develop scalable event playbooks, processes, and resources that enable sales teams to execute smaller events independently
• Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and execution quality
• Continuously evaluate event performance and optimize our strategy, budget, and event selection

Skills and qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience in events, field marketing, or related roles within a B2B organization
• Experience independently managing events or owning an events program from planning through execution
• Demonstrated ability to build or improve event programs, with measurable results tied to meetings, pipeline, or revenue
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience managing event budgets, vendors, logistics, and cross-functional coordination
• Strong understanding of how events contribute to B2B sales pipeline and customer engagement
• Experience partnering closely with sales teams to drive event participation and post-event follow-up
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%, with flexibility during peak event seasons

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working within a high-growth technology or startup environment
• Experience marketing or selling to education, government, public safety, or physical security organizations
• Experience building an events or field marketing program from the ground up
• Background in hospitality, venue management, live events, or other hands-on event operations
• Previous experience in a sales or revenue-generating role
