Mission: Open doors and scale revenue at tier-1 stores and high-growth DTC players.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Mapping – Build a ranked “A-list/B-list” heat map of modern jewelry & fashion brands and other fast-emerging DTC or hybrid labels; define the optimal entry model for each (wholesale, private-label, capsule co-design, marketplace drop, collab concession)
  • GTM Playbooks – Draft bespoke go-to-market briefs per target: launch window, hero-SKU mix, target IMU / retail ladder, marketing asks, and inventory ramp.
  • Pipeline & CRM Ownership – Maintain full-funnel CRM (intro, line review, quote, PO, replenishment); publish weekly pipeline and 12-month revenue forecast to leadership.
  • Relationship Activation – Tap Rolodex to land first line reviews; set up showroom appointments, virtual walk-throughs, and sample drops; quarterback follow-ups until PO lands.
  • Story-Driven Pitching – Co-create pitch decks with Merch Lead—consumer insight, sustainability proof-points, and margin architecture—and present them in buyer meetings and senior line reviews.
  • Commercial Negotiation – Own deal sheets: order size, margin, payment terms, consignment vs. outright, chargebacks, co-op marketing, and exclusivity clauses; align with Legal/Finance on risk exposure.
  • Sell-Through & Reorder Cadence – Pull weekly POS data (or portal exports) to flag hero styles, slow movers, and size-curve gaps; trigger replenishment, swap, or markdown plans before stock-outs or dead inventory.
  • Marketing & Brand Activation – Secure premium placements: homepage modules, editorial shoots, in-store events, social collabs, influencer seeding, and live shopping spots; liaise with partner marketing teams on asset delivery and KPIs.
  • Analytics & Feedback Loop – Slice sell-through by metal, price, and channel; relay actionable insights to Merch & Supply Chain for next design sprint or margin tune-up.
  • Industry Presence – Represent the brand at trade shows (JCK, Couture), NYFW events, and category forums; speak on panels where strategic to elevate brand perception.
  • Team Building – Hire and coach a junior account manager/showroom coordinator once volume justifies; foster tight rhythms with Finance, Ops, and India production to keep OTIF above 95 percent.
  • P&L Stewardship – Own channel P&L; track gross-to-net, co-op spend, and return allowances; course-correct quarterly to protect 60 percent blended margin.
