Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Head of Facilities to lead the company’s facilities function across its office portfolio, including New York, Chicago, and Austin. You will own the operating model, budgets, and service levels while driving safety, efficiency, and a strong employee experience.

The role requires a hands-on leader with financial discipline and the ability to influence senior leaders across the business to deliver a sustainable workplace strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive facilities or real estate operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing multi-site office environments in a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, safety/compliance.
• Experience using data to drive workplace decisions and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and workplace operations across multiple sites (New York, Chicago, Austin, etc.).
• Stabilize operations, improve visibility and accountability, and advance workspace strategy.
• Own the facilities operating model, governance, service levels, reporting, and budgets.
• Manage annual operating and capital budgets, forecasting, and spend discipline.
• Oversee maintenance, vendor performance, and procurement processes.
• Drive portfolio optimization, utilization planning, and space planning decisions.
• Develop reporting routines to track performance, risks, costs, and service quality.
• Coach and develop the facilities team and office operations partners.
