The Center for Generative Immunotherapy at UNC-Chapel Hill is hiring a Head of Experimental Sciences to lead translational tumor immunology work, including T cell engineering and single-cell analyses.

You will supervise and train a team, generate SOPs, coordinate with biologists and bioinformaticians, and contribute to manuscripts and grants. This role focuses on human tumor and immune samples from biobanks and clinical trials.

Qualificações

• PhD in Immunology or related discipline with extensive immunology training.
• Five+ years post-PhD experience in immunology research with listed techniques.
• Experience supervising experimental scientists and leading collaborations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee experimental translational research in tumor and immune biology.
• Lead team in cytometry, sample prep for immunopeptidomics, sequencing library prep.
• Develop SOPs, train staff, manage projects and timelines.
• Collaborate with program directors, bioinformatics, and computational biology.
• Contribute to publications, presentations, and grants.
