Datadog is seeking a Senior Group Manager of Experience Design for its Web Experience team. You will lead and grow the Experience Design group while remaining hands-on with the most impactful web experiences for customers and business.

You will guide two designers today and shape the team as it scales, setting a high bar for craft across research, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, and post-launch quality.

Qualifications

• Experienced across UX/UI, journey mapping, and web design with a portfolio of shipped, high-traffic experiences.
• People leader who stays hands-on in design work and can switch between team leadership and execution.
• Comfortable using code as part of the design process, including prototyping, reading implementation details, and building within a CMS.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow the Experience Design group, initially managing two designers.
• Hire, coach, and set clear expectations for designers while maintaining a high bar for craft.
• Design priority web experiences from research through interaction design, prototyping, and shipped pages.
• Prototype with AI and code-connected workflows to align design and implementation.
• Own and evolve the team’s design process from discovery to post-launch quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth, Web Engineering, and Web Content Engineering to align priorities with business goals.
