Job summary

JLB is seeking a founding-level Head of Event Video Operations to design and own the end‑to‑end event video program for a sports tech startup. You will lead staffing, gear, logistics, and on‑site QA across multiple events, acting as the face of delivery.

In this role you’ll travel heavily (12–15 weekends per year), build regional hubs, manage player/host relations, and help shape productization and sale of game film. Equity opportunities accompany impact-driven work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years running live sports/events or video production operations.
• Willing to travel 12–15 weekends per year (summer/fall).
• Comfortable with seasonal intensity and on-site troubleshooting.
• Desire for ownership and equity in an early-stage company.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the event video operations playbook (staffing, equipment, logistics, on-site QA).
• Build regional hubs with storage, gear, regional leads, and freelance pipelines.
• Be on-site at key events 12–15 weekends/year to ensure delivery.
• Own relationships with event operators and tournament directors with calm professionalism.
• Help commercialise game film processes for market, sale and scale.
