Job summary

Ketjen Corporation in Houston seeks a Head of Applications to lead the ERP and broader application landscape, including SAP core ERP, master data governance, cloud services, and functional systems across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and more.

You will build the BRM model, shape the team, partner with business leaders, and ensure the applications strategy delivers value, reliability, and compliance for process industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS, business or related field.
• At least 10 years in enterprise applications leadership with SAP or similar ERP.
• Experience building or running an IT business partner/BRM model.
• Track record of managing a large application portfolio.
• Strong stakeholder management across finance, supply chain, commercial, and other functions.
• Experience with software vendors, contracts, and implementation partners.
• Experience supporting applications in manufacturing environments (plant ops, quality, EHS, maintenance, supply chain).
• Direct SAP S/4HANA experience; SAP RISE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Business Relationship Management and establish operating model for demand management and prioritization.
• Own the SAP roadmap end-to-end, including ERP modules, master data governance, cloud platforms, and planning services.
• Evaluate and rationalize the application portfolio; own the integration layer with the core ERP.
• Finish separation-close items tied to corporate divestitures and ensure data ownership across moved apps.
• Manage vendor relationships with SAP, implementation partners, and service providers; define MSP landscape.
• Build and lead the applications team; set testing, change management, and adoption standards; own budget.
