Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a strategic leader to oversee enterprise access control, security technology, and governance across Danforth and Medicine campuses.

You will drive modernization, policy development, and cross-department collaboration to ensure reliable, compliant security systems and programs. The role emphasizes building and mentoring teams, managing vendor relationships, and partnering with Facilities, IT, Public Safety, and regulatory bodies to advance enterprise

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in physical security, access control, security technology, facilities operations, or related field.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a complex operational environment.
• Experience managing enterprise-level access control, key management, CCTV, or related security technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational leadership for enterprise access control, key management, CCTV, and related security technology functions across multiple campuses.
• Establishes goals, priorities, performance standards and service delivery expectations for university-wide security objectives.
• Leads integration and alignment of security systems operations, governance, and processes across campus environments.
