Job summary

Burtch Works in Ocala, FL seeks a Director of Enterprise AI & Technology to lead our client’s AI transformation, serving as the organization’s primary AI leader, hands-on builder, and strategic partner to the business.

The role focuses on shaping and executing the enterprise AI strategy, identifying high-value opportunities, and building practical AI solutions across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and other functions, guiding governance, risk, and ROI while mentoring technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on AI/automation design and deployment experience.
• Proficiency with LLMs, prompts, retrieval (RAG), and scripting (Python).
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation from strategy to measurable impact.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical AI solutions.
• Experience with governance and responsible-use frameworks.
• Strong data, cloud, security, and architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations.
• Translate business problems into AI use cases with defined success measures.
• Prototype, build, deploy, and scale AI solutions including LLMs.
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions for AI capabilities.
• Guide solutions from concept through adoption and enterprise scale.
• Partner with leaders to redesign processes and workflows, not just add tech.
• Lead AI adoption through training, governance, and internal champions.
