Job summary

Mintlify in San Francisco is seeking an engineering leader to partner with the founders, shaping strategy and translating it into engineering priorities. You will scale the world-class engineering organization, attract top talent, and own the technical foundation as Mintlify expands beyond documentation.

The role requires hands-on credibility across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform architecture, plus a proven ability to recruit and develop engineers while aligning decisions

Qualifications

• Scaled an engineering organization from roughly 10 to 50 engineers at an early stage company.
• Strong experience with modern backend systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated platform architecture knowledge and systems at scale.
• Track record of recruiting, developing and retaining high-caliber engineers.
• Owned a product line end to end with business impact awareness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with founders to shape company and product strategy and translate it into engineering priorities.
• Scale the engineering organization, attracting talent and building the necessary team.
• Turn product innovation into growth by launching major new product lines.
• Own engineering execution and establish priorities across product, platform, and infra.
