DBSync is seeking a Head of Engineering in Bangalore (Remote) to lead development, support, implementation and external partners. You will work with CEO/CTO to guide technology strategy and business decisions.

You will manage projects, lead engineers, ensure secure, scalable software, implement agile processes, mentor staff, and set department standards to deliver high-quality solutions for cloud/data integration.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of engineering leadership experience.
• Hands-on in Java, Bootstrap, jQuery, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• BSc/BA in CS or Eng; MS/MBA a plus.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor staff.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead engineers and provide guidance on technical issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, and support teams to ensure smooth product development and delivery.
• Enforce coding standards, security, and best practices.
• Hire, train, and mentor engineers and staff.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve processes.
• Build relationships with vendors and partners.
• Deliver at least two end-to-end projects.
• Oversee full SDLC for a team in Agile.
• Lead staff to implement clients efficiently; ensure quality and security.
• Mentor staff for career development and training.
• Develop department standards and procedures.
• Suggest efficient upgrade implementations.
• Evaluate progress and report results.
