Job summary

DEMGY is seeking a strategic engineering leader to drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and tooling strategy through production readiness and sustainment, with emphasis on cost, quality, and customer outcomes.

You’ll report to the VP of Operations and lead Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and Project Engineering to establish a clear strategy, optimize NPI, and connect cross-functional teams to improve execution and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics engineering, preferably within aerospace manufacturing.
• Led complex engineering or manufacturing programs across full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding, tooling, manufacturability, process development, and cost modeling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; IQMS preferred.
• Proficiency with CATIA and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
• Strong project planning and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute an engineering strategy that supports growth and commitments.
• Lead engineering programs from concept through production, sustainment, and end-of-life.
• Optimize NPI, production readiness, tooling strategies, and processes.
• Connect Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development.
• Drive capacity, resource planning, program cost and risk evaluation, tooling decisions.
• Establish KPIs to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Provide visible leadership when challenges impact quality, cost, or delivery.
• Build capable teams while championing Lean, Kaizen, 5S, safety, and improvement.
