Job summary

Scanifly is a mission-driven company accelerating the clean energy transition with reality capture, 3D modeling, cloud computing and AI. We are seeking a player-coach to lead the engineering department, foster collaboration company-wide, own the systems and guardrails for fast, confident shipping, and set metrics that drive measurable impact.

You will stay close to the work and guide high-impact decisions as we evolve.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in software engineering leadership
• Experience scaling an engineering org in a startup environment
• Strong communication, empathy and feedback skills

• Lead the engineering department while fostering collaboration company wide.
• Own the systems and guardrails that support shipping quickly and confidently.
• Identify opportunities to boost efficiency, streamline workflows, and bring forward smart solutions.
• Stay close to the work: dive into the code and maintain a clear view of every workstream.
• Set meaningful metrics and goals that drive productivity and measurable impact.
• Maintain consistency with 1:1s and team rituals while guiding the team through high-impact decisions and new opportunities as we evolve.
