Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a seasoned Program Director for Emergency Response & Life Support Education to supervise and enhance AHA training across the system. You will oversee ACLS, BLS, and Heartsaver programs, align them with AHA standards, and lead initiatives to strengthen clinical emergency preparedness and patient outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and 5-8 years of relevant experience with 0-1 years in management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• RN license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• 5-8 years of related work experience.
• 0-1 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee all AHA training programs, ensuring compliance with AHA standards and requirements.
• Develop class schedules, staffing models, recruitment plans, and resource allocation strategies.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and support program staff while promoting operational efficiency and excellence.
• Manage annual program budgets, course revenue, and purchasing of supplies and equipment.
• Continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Champion innovation and lead change initiatives that enhance emergency response education and performance.
• Direct daily operations and supervise a team of educators and support staff.
• Lead projects focused on improving clinical emergency preparedness and response across the medical center.
• Direct supervision of more than 7 employees; oversight of 1-5 indirect reports; responsible for hiring, performance evaluations, and budget planning.
