Right Hire Consulting LLC seeks a seasoned Department Head Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for building projects. The role reports to the Office Manager and collaborates with Project Managers to deliver high-quality electrical systems.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years in electrical design or PM, proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual, and Elum Tools, and skilled in leadership and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design, engineering, or project management.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (Visual, Elum Tools) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Mentor and guide electrical design staff, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Coordinate electrical efforts with multi-disciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and approve electrical project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Develop project proposals and fee estimates in collaboration with leadership.
• Represent the electrical team in client meetings and project interviews.
• Identify opportunities to expand electrical engineering services.
• Maintain strong client relationships to support firm growth.
