Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Chief of Platform Operations to lead the DevSecOps platform and Common Development Environment.

You will ensure pipelines, cloud services, test environments, and collaboration tools are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose across the enterprise. The role requires 8+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, plus an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, platform engineering, or large-scale software environment operations.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating CI/CD pipelines and shared environments for complex systems.
• Experience supporting or operating enterprise integration/test environments and tools for large software portfolios.
• Strong understanding of secure configuration baselines and development/test lab environments.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevSecOps platform and Common Development Environment ensuring pipelines, cloud services, test environments, and collaboration tools are reliable, secure, and responsive to mission needs.
• Coordinate with engineering, test, cybersecurity, and external developers to provide baselines, automation, and mission-representative environments.
• Oversee platform-related training and support for developers and testers, driving continuous improvement of the platform as a core enterprise capability.
