Boost your interview chances
A leading company in software development seeks a Design Lead to drive innovation and design excellence. You will lead a talented team, responsible for developing a cutting-edge coding platform and shaping its design philosophy. If you have a proven track record in design leadership within enterprise software, this is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader based in San Francisco.
Our mission at Sourcegraph is to make it so that everyone can code, not just ~0.1% of the population.
We build tools that make software development easier at scale, including Code Search for exploring massive codebases and Amp, our agentic coding tool, which accelerates coding and complex migrations.
Trusted by teams at Stripe, Uber, and Palo Alto Networks, with $225M funding from a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, we are shaping the future of enterprise software. We are a globally distributed team with a culture of high agency, direct communication, and a deep love for developers.
If you want to work at the cutting edge of software and do meaningful work, join us.
While we hire globally, this role is based in San Francisco, requiring in-office presence several days a week.
We value smart, dedicated work over hours, believing that building outstanding products requires effort and ingenuity.
Amp is the most advanced coding agent. You will be responsible for designing a platform that meets high user expectations, leading a team of design engineers, and shaping our overall design philosophy.
We offer above-market salaries, transparent compensation, equity, and generous benefits. Salaries are based on our pay bands, experience, skills, and location, with the San Francisco starting point at $225,000. We encourage you to speak with a recruiter for more details.
Our interview process includes an initial conversation, team interviews, reference checks, and background verification, totaling around 4 hours. We are committed to a swift, transparent process and welcome additional conversations with team members.
