Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is looking for a Design Engineering Manager in Huntley, IL to lead the development of innovative thermoformed medical packaging solutions. You will manage a high-performance team, drive product development, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in thermoforming and is proficient in CAD tools like SolidWorks. This role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $160,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in thermoforming or closely related plastics manufacturing environments.
• Regulatory familiarity (ISO 13485, validation, cleanroom familiarity).
• Working knowledge of medical packaging requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of thermoformed medical packaging solutions.
• Manage tooling development process and collaborate with suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and systems.
