Head of Delivery / Senior Engineer (Part-Time, EST) – NextGen Coding Company

Location: USA-Based (Remote, EST hours)

Compensation: $10–$25/hour

Schedule: Part-Time (15 hours/week; potential to convert to Full-Time after training and trust is established)

NextGen Coding Company is hiring a Head of Delivery / Senior Engineer to lead project delivery across our growing portfolio of tech solutions. This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for a U.S.-based engineer with leadership experience, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to oversee delivery across multiple active engagements. The position starts part-time with flexible growth into a full-time leadership track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for web, software, and emerging tech projects.
• Oversee development timelines, quality, scope, and deployment workflows across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with internal engineers, QA, and product teams to ensure all deliverables meet client requirements.
• Write and review clean, scalable code as needed (hands-on coding when required).
• Own client communication during implementation phases, balancing business context with technical execution.
• Support solutions involving full-stack web development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
• Manage and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and delivery standards.
• Contribute to architectural planning and technology selection across various domains, including AI/ML, blockchain, game dev, and computer vision when applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, full-stack engineering, or technical delivery leadership.
• Strong knowledge of modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python, etc.), databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with APIs, data engineering, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, and game development is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• U.S.-based and available during Eastern Time Zone hours.
