Job summary

Destination Pet is launching a PE-backed data platform initiative in the pet health ecosystem. This role leads the data science strategy and helps transform fragmented data from veterinary partners, care centers, and other channels into scalable insights.

You will build predictive models, segmentation frameworks, and forecasting tools, communicating findings to executives and guiding product strategy in a high-growth, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 6–10+ years data science experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with experience handling messy data.
• Proven track record building predictive models and communicating insights to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science strategy for a new PE-backed business unit in pet health.
