Job summary

ELLKAY, LLC seeks a Director of Data Platform & Data Lake to own the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operation of our enterprise healthcare data platform. This leader will define the multiyear roadmap and drive secure, scalable, governed data foundations supporting ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, analytics, and downstream products.

The role partners with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Operations, and client-facing teams to enable AI-ready data,

Qualifications

• Define and execute the Data Platform and Data Lake strategy and multiyear roadmap.
• Lead platform architecture, engineering standards, data governance, security, observability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of platform leads, data engineers, and supporting specialists.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Operations, and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Data Platform and Data Lake strategy and multiyear roadmap.
• Lead platform architecture, engineering standards, data governance, security, observability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of platform leads, data engineers, and supporting specialists.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Operations, and client-facing teams.
• Establish reusable ingestion and processing patterns for clinical, financial, operational, and other healthcare data.
• Improve data quality, lineage, metadata management, access controls, and lifecycle management.
• Establish platform SLAs, engineering metrics, capacity planning, and incident-management practices.
• Reduce duplicated solutions and enable faster delivery of analytics, interoperability, AI, and customer-facing data capabilities.
• Ensure the platform meets applicable privacy, security, audit, and regulatory requirements
