Job summary

Nebius Group is seeking a General Manager, Data Center to lead the Independence, Missouri campus. You will oversee data center operations, critical facilities, networking, logistics, and staff to deliver reliable capacity and uptime.

You will design the campus organization, hire a leadership team, define reporting lines, and manage budgets and partner services. This hands-on role requires on-site leadership during deployment and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or comparable mission-critical operations, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience building and scaling organizations and leading managers across multiple technical and operational functions.
• Experience leading hardware deployment, infrastructure integration, operational acceptance, or major compute capacity expansion into production service.
• Strong understanding of critical facilities, including power and cooling, and how those systems affect IT availability and high-density compute operations.
• Leadership across compute, networking, storage, and infrastructure lifecycle management with the ability to coordinate specialist teams.
• Ownership of operating budgets, workforce planning, vendor performance, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the campus organization with functional leadership, coverage, and reporting lines.
• Hire, lead, and develop directors and data center managers in partnership with HR.
• Own the workforce plan, including recruitment, training, contractor support, and leadership coverage.
• Establish performance expectations and technical competency standards for reliable campus operations.
