About The Role

As the Edge Analytics Team Lead, you will lead a team of 8 analysts supporting Uber's Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO) across multiple lines of business (Restaurants, Retail, Ads, Direct, and Digital Sales Center). This role involves translating data insights into strategic actions for regional and vertical teams, supporting our "Innovate at the Edge and Scale at the Core" approach by embedding analytics into decision-making processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead a high-performing analytics team across regions and verticals, managing, coaching, and developing team members.
• Partner with regional DCO Edge teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify data-driven improvement opportunities.
• Deliver actionable insights on KPIs such as acquisition, onboarding, expansion, churn, and efficiency.
• Translate business challenges into scalable analytics frameworks and empower leaders with data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with the Data governance team to align on data models, dashboards, and best practices.
• Support Edge pilot programs and regional initiatives, proposing ideas for global rollout.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards.
• Represent Edge Analytics in strategic planning and regional operating cadences.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics, strategy, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years managing teams.
• Proven experience in building analytics roadmaps and delivering insights that impact business outcomes.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, SQL, Python/R, data visualization, machine learning, and cloud analytics tools.
• Experience working in matrixed, global, and regional environments.
• Strong storytelling skills with data and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketplaces or commercial operations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

For roles based in Chicago, IL, the salary range is USD$167,000 - USD$186,000. For New York, NY, USD$186,000 - USD$207,000. For San Francisco, CA, USD$186,000 - USD$207,000. For Seattle, WA, USD$167,000 - USD$186,000. US-based employees are eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits detailed at Uber Careers Benefits.
