AbbVie seeks a Director, Data & AI Architect to define and lead the overall Data & AI architecture for Operations and Finance. You will align with enterprise priorities, shape target-state architecture, and enable trusted Data & AI solutions across the portfolio.

You will build a leadership bench of senior architects, govern data & AI tooling, and guide long-term investment decisions while ensuring security, compliance, and value realization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with significant relevant experience.
• Proven ability to define roadmaps and modernization investment strategies.
• Experience leading architecture teams and scaling practices.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native, lakehouse, event-driven, microservices, API-first and GenAI architectures.
• Experience establishing governance, standards, and operating models.
• Ability to influence executives by linking technology decisions to business value.

Aufgaben

• Own and communicate the Data & AI architecture strategy for Operations and Finance.
• Define target operating model, governance, and architecture review mechanisms.
• Lead and develop senior architects and a scalable architecture community of practice.
• Guide tooling strategy and vendor evaluations for Data & AI capabilities.
• Define patterns for data products, semantic services, and retrieval for AI-powered apps.
• Contribute to financial stewardship with investment planning and cost discipline.
• Set runtime architecture standards for scale, reliability, and observability.
