Job description

Creative leader. Hands-on designer. Video producer. Marketing-minded problem solver.

Premiere Collectibles is a leader in authenticated autographed collectibles, partnering with some of the biggest names in music, entertainment, publishing, sports, and pop culture. We work directly with high-profile talent and their teams to create exclusive products and marketing campaigns that connect fans with signed collectibles from the artists and authors they love.

Our business moves quickly. One day we're launching a campaign with a legendary musician; the next we're developing a custom collectible, producing a celebrity video shoot, or building a pitch for a major partnership. We work on confidential projects with recognizable names, often long before they're announced publicly. Integrity, professionalism, and absolute discretion are essential.

The Role: A Creative Leader Who Actually Creates

Let's be clear: We're not looking for someone who just manages creative. We're looking for someone who makes it.

This is a senior-level position for a versatile creative professional who can personally design, edit, produce, and deliver outstanding work, while also leading and developing a small creative team.

You should be able to jump into Photoshop and create a great ad, edit a compelling video, build a polished business development presentation, develop a custom product design, or direct a professional shoot with high-profile talent. You'll combine strong traditional creative skills with emerging AI design and video tools to produce better work, faster.

You also need to understand marketing. Our creative exists to sell products, drive engagement, build brands, and generate revenue. You should know what makes someone stop scrolling, click an ad, and buy. You don't need to be a media buyer, but you should understand how creative affects conversion rates, customer acquisition, and return on ad spend.

This role is for someone who can balance creative excellence, speed, marketing performance, and hands-on execution, and lead a team to do the same.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
1. Hands-On Creative Execution (a major part of the job)
  • Personally design and produce high-quality creative across digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, and business development.
  • Create static graphics, paid social ads, website banners, landing page visuals, email graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Develop custom bookplate designs, limited-edition collectibles, packaging, and other exclusive product artwork.
  • Direct product photography so imagery is compelling, consistent, and accurately represents each item.
  • Build business development presentations, partnership proposals, and pitch decks for talent and partners.
  • Take projects from a rough idea or brief through final delivery, often on tight deadlines.
  • Jump into any creative project when timelines or business needs demand it.
2. Marketing-Minded Creative That Drives Results
  • Create and optimize assets for Meta, Google, email, SMS, PremiereCollectibles.com, and other channels, in close partnership with our marketing team.
  • Apply an understanding of consumer behavior, audience targeting, and purchase motivation to every ad.
  • Use metrics like click-through rate, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, and ROAS to guide creative decisions.
  • Develop multiple variations to test messaging, formats, hooks, and visual approaches.
  • Balance brand storytelling with direct-response principles, and know the difference between creative that looks good and creative that sells.
3. Video Production & Talent Shoots
  • Personally direct, film, and produce video for high-profile talent and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and run in-person and remote shoots, including lighting, cameras, sound, and logistics.
  • Work confidently with artists, authors, entertainers, and their representatives to capture authentic content.
  • Own post-production: editing, sound, color correction, and final delivery.
  • Create short-form video for paid ads and organic social, and repurpose footage across campaigns.
  • Stay current on video trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a small team of graphic designers and video editors.
  • Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and quality control on every deliverable.
  • Delegate strategically while keeping a significant hands-on workload.
  • Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
  • Keep work aligned with the Premiere Collectibles brand and the individual branding of our talent partners.
  • Build efficient workflows and keep assets and project files organized.
  • Stay ahead of AI-powered design, video, and content production tools, and bring the best ones into the team's workflow.
  • Combine strong traditional design fundamentals with modern AI capabilities.
  • Ensure AI-assisted work respects brand integrity, intellectual property, talent likeness, and confidentiality.
  • Keep finding ways to make our creative more engaging, effective, and scalable.
Who We're Looking For

You're someone who genuinely loves creating. You don't want to spend your day in meetings or just assigning work. You want to be in the middle of it: designing, editing, producing, experimenting, and making things happen.

You have the experience to lead a team, and you haven't lost the passion for doing the work yourself. You're confident but open to feedback, fast, adaptable, and resourceful. And you understand that the ultimate goal of creative is to help the business grow.

Required
  • Significant professional experience in graphic design, videography, video editing, and creative production.
  • A portfolio showing exceptional work you personally executed across multiple mediums.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio, and post-production.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, paid social creative, and e-commerce design.
  • Experience leading, managing, or directing other creative professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organization, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and implement it quickly.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment with high-profile talent and confidential projects.
Preferred
  • Experience in entertainment, music, publishing, consumer products, or e-commerce.
  • Experience producing content with celebrities, artists, authors, or other public figures.
  • Hands-on use of AI design and video tools in a professional workflow.
  • Familiarity with product photography, packaging design, and premium merchandise.
  • Examples of creative that delivered measurable campaign results.

If you meet most of the required qualifications and your portfolio is strong, we'd like to hear from you.

Compensation, Benefits & Location
  • Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
