Confidential, a fast-growing real estate development and investment platform, seeks a President (Head) of Insurance Operations to build an integrated insurance platform from the ground up. You will lead strategy, underwriting, carrier relations, regulatory compliance, and financial performance across captive insurer and brokerage.

You will work with external partners initially while shaping a high-performing insurance organization as the platform scales, focusing on construction-related programs

Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior leadership in property and casualty insurance.
• Deep expertise in commercial P&C with established carrier relationships.
• Experience underwriting or placing construction-related insurance programs.
• Active P&C producer license or ability to obtain quickly.
• Experience with OCIPs/CCIPs and 831(b) programs.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute strategy for captive insurer and affiliated brokerage.
• Oversee underwriting, pricing, and reserving in collaboration with actuarial advisors.
• Manage carrier/fronting relationships, reinsurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and scale an insurance organization across multiple entities.
• Lead recruiting and development of the insurance team.
