About the Role

A growing homebuilder in the Columbus area is looking to bring on a driven, experienced Head of Construction to join their leadership team. This is a key opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of operations, lead from the front, and help scale a high-quality custom and production homebuilding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee custom and production home projects from start to finish—on time, on budget, and with top quality
• Lead and support field staff, with a focus on team development as the company grows
• Coordinate with subcontractors and inspect all phases of the build
• Own the construction schedule and proactively resolve issues as they arise
• Visit job sites regularly to ensure consistency and quality across all projects
• Attend weekly meetings and initial training in Pittsburgh

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction management
• Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage teams and hold them accountable
• Hands-on field experience preferred
• Background in production and/or custom homebuilding
• Familiarity with construction management tools and scheduling software
• Willingness to travel to Pittsburgh weekly
