Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC seeks a strategic Director of Compensation to shape enterprise pay strategy, architecture, and governance. You will lead a Center of Excellence, drive market pricing, pay equity, and annual cycles, while partnering with senior leaders and the Board to ensure fair, competitive rewards.

Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation is preferred; CCP/CECP certifications are a plus. This role reports to the VP of Total Rewards & HRIS and anchors a data‑driven, scalable total rewards

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in a corporate setting.
  • Deep expertise in compensation design, benchmarking, analytics, and job architecture.
  • Experience leading compensation transformation or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CCP or CECP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Compensation Strategy & Design and align with long‑term business goals.
  • Oversee market pricing, job evaluation, and pay equity reviews annually.
  • Partner with senior leaders and the Board’s Human Capital Committee.
  • Establish governance, processes, and reporting to improve fairness and clarity.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing Compensation COE across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, HRIS.
