Magic Patterns is seeking a creative individual in San Francisco to film and edit videos for social media platforms. You will be integral in building and nurturing our community while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Hi, I’m Alex, co-founder at Magic Patterns. You can see some of the videos we have already created in our docs and on our socials, but now the keys are in the rocketship and we’ll take it to the next level together.

In this role, you will:

• Film and edit videos for social media, including YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok
• Build and nurture our community through forum engagement and advocacy
• Talk to users, every day
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams as a product expert and user advocate
• Partner with influencers and other creators
• Develop our brand through community engagement

Your background and skill sets look like:

• Strong writer who doesn’t sound like ChatGPT
• Comfortable with no playbook
• Know your way around audio/video editing
• Strong social media presence with consistent posting
