Tailscale seeks a strategic Head of Communications to lead and scale its global communications function. You will own product and corporate communications, PR, media strategy, and more, reporting to the SVP of Marketing in a fully distributed, growth-focused environment.

You will translate complex technology into compelling narratives, build relationships with journalists, and elevate media visibility to support market leadership and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications at high-growth B2B tech companies.
• Proven track record securing earned media coverage and building journalist relationships.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling across external and executive communications.
